What to EAT at Tsukiji Outer Market?

NOTICE:  Tsukiji Inner Market closed on October 6, 2018. It has relocated to Toyosu and reopened as Toyosu Market . Tsukiji's outer market will remain in business. The Tsukiji Outer Market comprises of a combination of retail and food stalls. Here you can find the freshest seafood and is the best place to enjoy a sushi breakfast or lunch. TIP: Come to the fish markets as early if possible to avoid the crowds. Vendors typically open from approximately 5 or 6am and serve fish that are caught and bought from the Toyosu Wholesale Market. Funnily enough our first meal at Tsukiji Market was not seafood. It was at Kitsuneya which is known for their Horumon bowls - Horumon typically refers to organ meat or offal . Since we aren't huge fans of offal we opted for the Gyudon ( Beef Bowl -  ¥680) instead with an additional onsen tamago.
